I just want to open this up to hear great quotes that you love and explain why you do, while sharing some of mine.

I have found this quote quite useful when evangelizing or having discussions with Muslims, Atheists and other religions.

"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept his claim to be God. That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic — on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg — or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut him up for a fool, you can spit at him and kill him as a demon or you can fall at his feet and call him Lord and God, but let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about his being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to (C.S. Lewis:  Mere Christianity).

Please share a quote that you know and explain why you love it!

A quote that I love is:

"Ye are of God, little Children; and have overcome them: Because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world". - 1 John 4:4

That scripture has always been an encouragement to me. Let this whole world say what they may. But once you know Jesus, you will never be the same! The enemy hates the name of Jesus. Why do they hate Jesus so much? Hmmmm... it raises some questions about them. And it is also encouraging because if the name of Jesus did not have any significance, there wouldn't be a war against those who believe in Him, or his truth.

One of my favorites comes from Christian rapper KB's song, "Brand New."

"Some say God doesn't want you to suffer but where they saw that? / We don't pray for a lighter cross, but a stronger back. / It's not about the comfort, good life, and security / You will feel pain but he's breaking you for maturity."

Sometimes we find truth in interesting places. Even from a young (early 20s) rapper singing about his faith in Christ.
